Meet The Founder

Meet Our Founder and Executive Director Ms Ndeenga Shamata, grew up in a remote village called Losirwa as 5th child to her father among 22 siblings! When her older sister got married she was send with her as an escort gift of honor! Her Sister lived near where the school was being pioneered, and she was allowed to go play with other kids at school (which was under a big tree back then) As time went by, her name was written and was recognized as one of the students too while every one at home thought she can not go far, not school anyway. She the ran away and through an exchange program she found herself in Iowa, USA. Ever since she completed the program she dedicated her life to rescue girls who otherwise would not have a chance to education. Her dream is to see every masai girl in school, educated and empowered to make better decisions for their lives and become important people in the World.

I believe a World without child marriage is possible only if we fight for it together

Child marriage is a form of gender-based violence and a violation of Human rights

Education is not only a fundamental Human right but also a potential tool in the fight against Child marriage.

Shelter Of Hope Provide Sanitary Pads for Girls in Tanzania

Female students in our communities face great challenges in terms of hygiene and sanitation. Many schools in our rural areas have insufficient numbers of latrines, which are often poorly designed and maintained. For girls who are menstruating, these problems compound the difficulties posed by the inability to afford sanitary pads as well as cultural taboos around menstruation. As a result, many girls miss on average four days of school every month which is over a month in a year..
